Materiál: pískovec Téma: Ochrana, mateřská láska a útěk do bezpečí
Sochařka, která stála u zrodu myšlenky a výběru autorů, vytvořila dílo jako přímou reakci na historické i současné tragédie válek.
Symbolika: Socha vyjadřuje matku, která si své děti chrání, vine je do deky a prchá s nimi do bezpečí. Jsou to právě matky s dětmi, kdo během válek trpí nejvíce.
Historický kontext: Dílo odkazuje na rok 1915, kdy byli italští obyvatelé vysídleni ze svých domovů a transportováni do Čech a na Moravu.
Současnost: Autorka vnímá silnou paralelu s dnešní válkou na Ukrajině a novou vlnou uprchlíků, kteří hledají bezpečí.
Tato socha bude darována (v květnu 2026) partnerské obci Valle di Ledro jako symbol trvalého přátelství mezi našimi národy.

L'autrice, che ha curato la selezione degli scultori per questo simposio, ha creato un'opera che risponde alle tragedie storiche e contemporanee.
Simbolismo: La statua rappresenta una madre che protegge i suoi figli, avvolgendoli in una coperta mentre fugge verso la sicurezza. Sono le madri con i bambini a soffrire di più durante i conflitti.
Contesto storico: L'opera richiama il 1915, quando i cittadini italiani furono evacuati dalle loro case e deportati in Boemia e Moravia.
Attualità: L'autrice vede un forte parallelismo con l'attuale guerra in Ucraina e la nuova ondata di profughi in cerca di riparo.
Quest'opera sarà donata al comune partner di Valle di Ledro come simbolo dell'amicizia duratura tra i nostri popoli.

The sculptor, who initiated the artistic selection for this symposium, created this work as a direct response to historical and contemporary tragedies of war.
Symbolism: The sculpture depicts a mother protecting her children, wrapping them in a blanket and fleeing to safety. It is mothers and children who suffer the most during wars.
Historical Context: The work refers to 1915, when Italian inhabitants were displaced from their homes and transported to Bohemia and Moravia.
Presence: The author perceives a strong parallel with today’s war in Ukraine and the new wave of refugees seeking safety.
This statue will be donated to the partner municipality of Valle di Ledro as a symbol of the enduring friendship between our nations.

Vzpomínky na domov během cesty / Domestiche memorie in camino / Memories of home along the way
Trentino 1915 - Milín 2025
🇨🇿:
Materiál: pískovec, barevné železo Rozměry: 250 x 50 x 60 cm.
Tato socha má podobu totemické stély, která v sobě nese vzpomínky těch, kteří museli opustit svůj domov.
Základna: Hromada dřeva ve spodní části symbolizuje opuštěné obydlí.
Střed: Barevné železné kostky představují jednotlivé „body paměti“ na dlouhé cestě, která vedla vysídlence z italského Trentina až k nám do Čech a na Moravu.
Vrchol: Stéla je zakončena oknem. To připomíná dům, ze kterého lidé odešli, ale zároveň zůstává otevřené do nekonečna jako symbol naděje, touhy po návratu a vděčnosti lidem, kteří poutníky přijali.
Dílo je oslavou paměti – toho, co bylo, co se stalo a co teprve vznikne.

L'opera è una stele totemica contenente la memoria di chi ha lasciato la propria casa.
La base: La catasta di legna in basso rappresenta la casa di partenza.
Il centro: Cubi in ferro colorato seguono la strada che da Trento portava in Boemia e Moravia.
La cima: La stele finisce con una finestra che richiama la casa d'origine, ma è aperta all'infinito per un desiderio di speranza, di ritorno a casa e di ringraziamento al popolo che li ha ospitati.
Un concetto che unisce ciò che era, ciò che è diventato e ciò che diventerà.

This sculpture takes the form of a totemic stele containing the memories of those who left their homes behind.
The Base: The stack of wood at the bottom represents the abandoned home.
The Middle: Colored iron cubes symbolize "memory cubes" along the road that led the exiles from Trento to Bohemia and Moravia.
The Top: The stele ends with a window that recalls the original home, yet remains open to the infinite—a symbol of hope, the desire to return, and gratitude to the people who hosted them.
It is a monument to memory: for what was, what it has become, and what it will become.

Materiál: pískovec Téma: Rozhodnutí, identita a tíha historie
Simon Rauter, sochař z Jižního Tyrolska, se ve svém díle dotýká jednoho z nejbolestivějších témat historie svého regionu – tzv. „Volbou“ z roku 1939.
Symbolika: Název odkazuje na krutou volbu, před kterou byli postaveni obyvatelé jeho domova: buď opustit svou vlast, nebo ztratit svou kulturní identitu a jazyk.
Koncept: Socha ztvárňuje vnitřní zápas člověka, který je nucen učinit rozhodnutí pod tlakem mocných. Je to „volba“, která rozdělovala rodiny a ničila osudy.
Poselství: Propojením letopočtů 1939 a 2025 autor připomíná, že téma nuceného pohybu národů a ztráty domova je bohužel stále aktuální. Milín se v tomto kontextu stává místem pochopení a smíření.

Simon Rauter, scultore altoatesino, tocca uno dei temi più dolorosi della storia della sua regione: le "Opzioni" del 1939.
Simbolismo: Il titolo si riferisce alla crudele scelta imposta agli abitanti della sua terra: lasciare la propria patria o perdere la propria identità culturale e la lingua.
Concetto: La scultura rappresenta la lotta interiore di chi è costretto a prendere una decisione sotto la pressione del potere. Una "scelta" che ha diviso famiglie e distrutto destini.
Messaggio: Collegando le date 1939 e 2025, l'autore ricorda che il tema dello spostamento forzato dei popoli e della perdita della casa è purtroppo ancora attuale. Milín diventa, in questo contesto, un luogo di comprensione e riconciliazione.

Simon Rauter, a sculptor from South Tyrol, addresses one of the most painful topics in his region's history: the "Option" of 1939.
Symbolism: The title refers to the cruel choice forced upon the inhabitants of his homeland: either leave their country or lose their cultural identity and language.
Concept: The sculpture depicts the inner struggle of an individual forced to make a decision under the pressure of power. It was a "choice" that divided families and destroyed destinies.
Message: By connecting the years 1939 and 2025, the author reminds us that the theme of forced migration and the loss of home is unfortunately still relevant today. In this context, Milín becomes a place of understanding and reconciliation.

Ukrajinský sochař vtiskl svému dílu syrovou sílu, která nepotřebuje křičet, aby byla slyšet.
Koncept: Brutální jednoduchost formy, patinovaný povrch a váha samotného materiálu proměňují sochu v monument lidskosti.
Symbolika: Socha nekřičí – zůstává tichá, stejně jako ti, kteří vytrpěli více, než lze vyjádřit slovy.
Poselství: Dílo reflektuje hluboký smutek a hrdost autora, který se po letech v emigraci vrátil tvořit do rodného Kyjeva.

Lo scultore ucraino ha conferito alla sua opera una forza cruda che non ha bisogno di gridare per essere ascoltata.
Concetto: La brutale semplicità della forma, la superficie patinata e il peso del materiale contribuiscono a trasformare la scultura in un monumento all'umanità.
Simbolismo: L'opera non urla – rimane in silenzio, come coloro che hanno sopportato più di quanto le parole possano esprimere.
Messaggio: Riflette il profondo dolore e l'orgoglio di un artista che, dopo anni all'estero, è tornato a creare nella sua Kiev.
